With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary L. Hill of Elizabethton, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Hill and Mary Scalf Hill; and his son Tom Hill. He is survived by: his wife Judy Johnson Hill; his children, Greg Hill (Tammy), Kevin Hill (Haley), Scott Hill (Debra), Tammy Hill and Melissa Fizer (Keith); his grandson Gage Hill; his great grandchild Gracie Hill; his siblings, Sue Elliott and Cecil Hill; and his friend LeAnn Morris.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Happy Valley Memorial Park (2708 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601-7107).
