He was predeceased by: his parents, George Pierce Bailey and Alice Dugger Bailey; his siblings, Julian Bailey and Elsie Kyker; his nephew Steve Kyker; and his niece Kathy Kelly Lockner.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Bailey Sherrill (Wesley) of Denver, NC; his sisters, Betty Ford of Elizabethton, Mary Jane Calhoun of Elizabethton and Cleo Kelly of Johnson City; and his nieces and nephews, Angie Kelly Blevins, Karen Booher, Gene Bowman, Jimmy Kelly, Sam Hopson, Ed Kyker and Lynn Kyker.
Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Elizabethton Housing Authority in memory of Stanley.
