She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Clyde and Fannie Myrtle Kelly Jessee; her husband L. D. Simerly; and her daughter Cynthia Caudill. She is survived by: her son Terry Lee Simerly; her grandchildren, Andy Simerly, Ashley Simerly and Jessica Pierce; and her great grandchildren, Hailey Presnell and Taylor Pierce.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
