He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Ornduff and Winnie Ornduff (Kress); his wife Elizabeth Ann Ornduff (Hale); and his siblings, Mary Parks, Ann W. Ornduff Berry, Cleta Younce, Christine Wright, Reba Ross, Elmer Ornduff, Rufus Delmore Ornduff and John Ornduff.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela L. Ornduff (Pam) of Franklin, TN, Mona G. Ornduff Evans of Elizabethton, TN and Kelly L. Ornduff Dale (Albert Dale) of Spring Hill, TN; his granddaughter Dr. Courtney Evans of Hanover, PA; his stepgranddaughters, Hannah Hilton (Harrison Hinton) of Hendersonville, TN and Mary Ashley Dale of Nashville, TN; his daughters, Grace Hilton and Violet Hinton; his sisters, Mariea Ward of Shady Valley, TN, Olga Rice of Ellenboro, NC, Sharon Holmes (David Holmes) of Elizabethton, TN and Erma Nidiffer of Elizabethton, TN; and his brothers-in-law, Blake Mitchel, Robbie Patten, Stacey Street, John Yubaus, Greg Moreland, Bob Lewis, David Shields and Steven Burdette. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Happy Valley Memorial Park (2708 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601-7107). A burial was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
