She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hamilton and Anna Reed Hamilton of Butler, Tennessee.. She is survived by: her sons, Jamie Clark (Janice) and Mark Clark (Jennifer); her granddaughter Jamie Lee Phipps; her husband Wyatt; her brother Sam Hamilton of Elizabethton; her niece Lisa Butler; and her close friend Shirlene Odom. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A graveside service was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Happy Valley Memorial Park (2708 Elizabethton Hwy 91, Johnson City, TN 37601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nettie's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Friendship Free Will Baptist Church ministry.
