He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Thomas and Grace Estep Wellborn. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Niles Wellborn; his stepchildren, Charlett Coffey and Robert J. Coffey; his grandson Dylan Ray; his sister Robin Herman (Paul); his nieces, Chelsea Peters and Cara Boulanger; and his great-nephew Raylan Boulanger.
