We announce the death of Jason Andrew Douglass (Elizabethton, Tennessee), who passed away on August 26, 2026, at the age of 52. Jason will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Carrie Douglass; his daughter Kasey Ann Douglass of Georgia; his mother Wini Miller; his stepfather Robert Miller; his sister LeeAnn Douglass (Scotty Fulton); his nephew Bryan Bouder (Sarah); his great-niece Emma; his nieces and nephews, Skylar Bouder and Olivia Bouder; his brother Richard Douglass Jr.; his nieces and nephews, Haily and Jacob Douglass; his siblings-in-law, Billy Wright (Tyler Wright) and Jeannie Hartzell (David Hartzell); and his nieces and nephews, Collin Hartzell and Madison Hartzell.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Willow Springs Baptist Church (544 Willow Springs Rd, Elizabethton, TN 37643).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jason's memory to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, honoring his generous spirit and his belief in helping others.
