He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Carr and Elsie Carr (Sheets); his daughter Melodie May Carr; and his siblings, Mabel Hamilton, Brenda Jensen, Charles, Howard and William "Grub" Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jane Carr (May); his daughter Melissa Anzelc; his granddaughter Jane Elsie Anzelc; his children, Michelle Evans (Brian) and Joe Lee Carr, Jr.; and his siblings, Rose Odom, Pearl Bradley, Arzella Rasnick, Louella Austin, Ruby Moore, James and Gary Carr.
