It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jon Loyd Byrd Jr. of Elizabethton, Tennessee, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jon L. Byrd; and his mother-in-law Anna Miller. He is survived by: his wife Tina Miller Byrd; his mother Nancy Byrd; his father-in-law Loren Miller; his sister Jan Jenkins (Gerald); his nephews, Andrew Broome II (Tyler), Wesley Thompson and Bradley Thompson (Elizabeth); his great-nephew Jasper Bautsch; and his nieces, Andi Broome (Jacob Bautsch) and Lesley Price (Jamison).
