He is survived by: his wife Carrie Wilson Hopson; his children, Hadley Hopson, Beau Hopson and Avery Hopson; his parents, John Hopson and Katrina Hyder Hopson of Elizabethton; his sisters, Jaycee Hopson Reed (Alex) of Elizabethton and Colbie Hopson Adkins (Ty) of Elizabethton; and his grandmother Brenda Hyder of Elizabethton.
