She was predeceased by: her parents, William Roy Sweeney and Juanita Kincaid Sweeney; her siblings, William Ray Sweeney Jr., Betty Cook, Carol Elaine Nesmith and Connie Jean Sweeney; the father of her children John Johnson Daniel; her nephew Christopher Marsh; and her brothers-in-law, Pete Cook and Larry Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Daniel and Ann Cardwell (Jason); her siblings, Debbie Covey, Sharon Sweeney, Evelyn Smith and Stanley Sweeney (Tammy); her grandchildren, Alivia Miller (Zac), Daegan Cardwell, Madison and Dawson Cardwell; and her great grandchildren, Holland Miller, Sevryn Miller, Swayzie Miller, Lennon Cardwell and Zeppelin Cardwell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Home (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Happy Valley Memorial Park (2708 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601).
