It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katie Williams of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clint Williams; her daughter Tonya Ann Smith; and her sisters, Marie Hodge and Charlotte Hope Sheppard. She is survived by: her son Phil McQueen (Joann) of Johnson City; her grandchildren, Heather Smith (Jimmy Hayes), Harry Smith III (Heather) and Rena Smith Askew; her nephew Jerry Potter (Linda); and her great grandchildren, Hannah Askew and Dylan Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
