Kenneth Wayne Simerly Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Wayne Simerly of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Conley Simerly and Hazel Miller Simerly; and his siblings, Lynn, Norman Simerly and Mattie Simerly.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Simerly of Elizabethton; his son Chase Simerly (Brittany) of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, Conner of Elizabethton and Emma Simerly of Elizabethton; his brothers, Rick Simerly (Teresa) of Elizabethton and Ed Simerly (Kathy) of Johnson City; and his siblings-in-law, Libby Simerly of Elizabethton, Sheila Woods of Elizabethton, Carolyn Blevins of Elizabethton, Bernice McAninch of Elizabethton, Gerlinde Perry of Loganville, GA and Larry Perry (Betty) of Elizabethton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
