He is survived by: his former wife Frankie Powell Holtsclaw; his children, Jimmy Holtsclaw (Kimberly) of Roan Mountain, Kevin Holtsclaw (Christy) of Roan Mountain and Kayla Potter; his grandchildren, Ethan Holtsclaw, Elijah Holtsclaw, David Miller, Bryce King, Alena King, Erika Potter and Savannah Potter; his siblings, Greg Holtsclaw (Linda), Janice Birchfield, Shelia Bishop, Karla Clark (James) and Karen Eckerd (Lee); and his sister-in-law Sherry Brumbaugh.
