He was predeceased by: his parents, Starling Hodge and Clydia Overbay Hodge; and his siblings, Frances Hodge Lowe, Glenn Hodge, R. C. Hodge, Bobby Hodge and Herman Hodge.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Burrow Hodge (Jenny); his children, David Hodge of Dallas, TX, Russell Hodge (Melissa) of Elizabethton and Mitzi Hodge Merritt (Mike) of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, Michael Hodge (Rebekah) of Elizabethton, Emily Hodge Daugherty (Steath) of Elizabethton and Grayson Merritt of Elizabethton; and his great grandchildren, Madison Hodge, Maddux Hodge and Rayla Hodge of Elizabethton. He is also survived by his family, friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lynn Valley Baptist Church Building Fund.
