He is survived by: his wife Pauletta Pierce; his daughter Kristy Baker (Christian) of Jonesborough; his siblings, Dean Pierce (Loretta) and Patsy Stout; and his sisters-in-law, Myrtle, Carolyn, Wanda and Shirley Pierce. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, it was Lawrence's wish that donations be made to the Children's Fund at Caldwell Springs Baptist Church.
