He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Holly Channon (Michael) of Moline, Jennifer Carr (Steven) of Elizabethton, TN, Jacob Benfield of Port Neches and Bob Norris (Shae) of Elizabethton, TN; his mother Betty; his brothers, Gregory (Robin) and Robert (Mary); his grandchildren, Zachary, Avarie, Emily, Justin, Jesse, Madison and Bailey; his great grandchildren, Jazzy of Skylar, A. J. and Peyton; his aunt Pidge; and his close friends, George Baldwin and Kenneth Loveless. He is also survived by several cousins, nephews, nieces.
