He is survived by: his son Marty Hyder; his stepchildren, Johnny Burleson and Judy Diaz; his sister Dianna White; his stepgrandchildren, Candy Johnson, Rick Burleson, Johnny Burleson, Jr., Joe Diaz and Ashley Blevins; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Nicole Andes, Haley, Macey Burleson, Isaac Johnson, Hanley, Elisha, Abel and Piper Diaz; and his stepgrandchild Harper Andes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 9:50 AM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (Historic Section) (215 Heroes Dr, Johnson City, TN 37604).
