We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 90, Lucille B Hamby (Elizabethton, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tillman Campbell and Beulah Campbell; her spouse Claude Hamby; her sons, Carroll and Richard Hamby; and her grandchildren, Brian Hamby, Franklin Hamby and Charlie Whitson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Cynthia Hamby), Frank (Kathy Hamby), Mark (Katie Hamby), Wayne (Melissa Hamby), Tina (Jude Hughes), James (Linda Hamby), Keith (Ann Hamby), Charles (Beverly Hamby) and Joe Hamby (Bobbi Jo Clark) of Jonas Ridge.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hamby Cemetery.
