With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Matthew Robert Quillen of Elizabethton, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2025 at the age of 39. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby Quillen and Mildred Ramey Quillen; his son Bentley Xayne Quillen; and his brother Bradley Quillen. He is survived by: his wife Samantha Cuevas; his children, Eden Rayne Quillen, Nevaeh Garcia, Mara Garcia and Izzy Cuevas; his pets, Iris and Roxy; his brother Christopher Ryan Quillen (Brittany); and his sibling's children, Gorda Rodriguez, Adeline Quillen, Bri Dugger and Alexander Quillen. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (456 US-23, Weber City, VA 24290). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
