He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe C. Nelson and Anna Ruth McKinney Nelson; and his sister Tammy "Sam" Burrow. He is survived by: his sisters, Carol Bowers, Sandra Hyder (Fred) and Margo Nelson. He is also survived by Several nieces and a nephew, also great Nieces and nephews.
