He is survived by: his son Norman Chesser; his daughter-in-law April Helton; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Anthony Harris; his grandchildren, Makayla Harris and Landon Chesser; and his brother Ray Chesser.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 1:50 PM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lyons Chapel Cemetery.
