He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert May and Laura Epperson May. He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Pierce May; his son Joe; his daughter-in-law Tammy H. May; his daughter Alicia May; his grandchildren, Billy Ray Blevins, Cassidy Pearce (Justin) and Emily Fair (Dalton); his great grandchildren, Aiden Blevins, Rowyn Blevins and Kendall Rae Blevins; his brother Robert May (Diane); and his nieces, Jennifer Pickwell (Matt) and Melissa Lee (Kevin).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:20 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Happy Valley Memorial Park (2708 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601).
