She was predeceased by : her parents, Maxine H. Honeycutt and Paul Honeycutt; her husband George R. Smith; and her son-in-law Gerald Ramsey. She is survived by : her daughters, Alesia Ramsey (Gerald Ramsey) and Shona Smith (Rick McCurry); her grandchildren, Shelbie Morgan of Hampton and Seth Ramsey of Hampton; and her sister-in-law Shirley Smith of Hampton.
