With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phillip Wayne Grindstaff of Elizabethton, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred R. Grindstaff and Bertie Nave Grindstaff; his grandson Adam Martin; his brothers, J. D. Grindstaff and Larry Grindstaff; and his parents-in-law, Jim and Mable Snavely.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Snavely Grindstaff; his daughters, Wendy Salyers (Jeff) of Nashville, Jennifer Martin (David) of Elizabethton and Julie Wilcox (Jon) of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, David Martin II (Shelley), Ellie Funk (Jeffrey), Cade Salyers and Hank Wilcox; his great grandchildren, Jolie Martin, Lily Martin and Judah Martin; and his sisters, Alma Bowers of Elizabethton and Janet Oliver of Elizabethton.
