In loving memory of Phyllis (Skipper) Walters of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who departed this world on October 13, 2025 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lula Taylor Elliot and Red Sim Elliott; her son Jackson Ray Slagle; her grandson Jacob Honeycutt; and her siblings, Jenny Tench and Sonny Elliott.
She is survived by: her husband Dean Allen Walters; her daughter Robin Slagle Lewis (Chris); her granddaughters, Ashley Lewis and Grace Lewis; her daughter Candy Slagle; her grandchildren, Bobby Cothran (Heather), Candace Johnson (Jason), Kelsey Switzer (Zach) and Karen Werner (Mark); her son Scott Dean Walters (Tina); and her grandchildren, Allen Walters and Abigail Honeycutt. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
