She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Dell and Hampton Edward Peters Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Mark Wayne Bailey (Christie) of Elizabethton, Matt Bailey (Summer Grindstaff) of Elizabethton, Ruthie Simpson (Roy) of Elizabethton and Rachel Leonard (Gary) of Bristol, TN; and her brothers, Hampton Edward Peters Jr. of Elizabethton and Bill Peters of Watauga. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
