He was predeceased by: his parents, Lincoln Stout and Flossie Greene Stout; his daughter Kathern "Katie" Thrasher; his brothers, Ronald Stout (Ellen), Darryl Stout (Patsy) and Roger Stout; and his sister-in-law Julene Stout.
He is survived by: his wife Trudy Stout of Melvindale, Michigan; his children, Phoenix Williams of Arkansas, Jenny Baugh (Jackson) of Michigan, Tami Buck (Ken) of Tennessee and Brian Stout (Kelly) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Mike of Georgia, Emily of Georgia, Clayton of North Carolina, Phillip of Colorado, Marianne of Florida, Chris of Tennessee, Dana of Michigan, Trenton of North Carolina, Steven of Michigan, Eric of Tennessee, Isabella of Michigan, Rylee of Michigan and Colin of Michigan; his son-in-law Marshall Thrasher of North Carolina; and his brother Lowell Stout of Indiana. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
