He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wilcox and Alice Wilcox (Farmer); his mother-in-law Joan Duncan; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Duncan and Rich Nielson.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Onica Leigh Oldiges (Steve), Craig Joseph Wilcox (Renee) and Dustin Ralph Wilcox (Allison); his grandchildren, Dylan Ralph Wilcox, William Thomas Oldiges, Anna Kate Wilcox, Elynn Alice Wilcox, Nikolaus Stephen Oldiges and Emmalee Reagan Wilcox; his siblings, Charlotte Wilcox, Ann Mikyla (Brad), Janet Swanson (John), Bert Wilcox, Alice Bennet (Vince), Charles Wilcox and Nancy Rys (Tom); and his pet Baxter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cherished extended family, friends, dedicated caregivers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pleasant Beach Baptist Church (125 Watauga Rd, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sunrise Cemetery.
