He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond E. Pierce and Edell Minton Pierce; his wife Cynthia Burton Pierce; his granddaughter Madison Blevins; and his siblings, Peggy Williams, Janice Gentry and Donald Pierce. He is also survived by his children, siblings, grandchildren and other extended family.
