Richard Douglas Hicks Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Douglas Hicks of Elizabethton, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hicks and Mildred Campbell; his grandmother Ella Hensley; his children, Jack and Jacklyn Hicks; and his siblings, Gary, Sammy Hicks, Gene Charlie, Cameron, Bill Campbell, Zella Mae, Doris, Stella, Margaret and Diane Campbell.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Ginny" Hicks; his children, Richard Jr. (Ashley), Rondall, Church and Ronnie Hicks; his granddaughters, Mia and Kellsie Hicks; and his brothers, Eddie and Jackie Campbell.
