He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Baldwin and Maude Bentley Baldwin; and his siblings, Clarence, Douglas Baldwin and Faye Baldwin Fifield.
He is survived by: his significant other Linda Baldwin; his daughters, Robin Miller of Arizona and Tina Brown of Alabama; his stepdaughter Rhonda Wiggins; his grandchildren, Nathan Mayes, Samantha, Matthew and Kimberly Harmon; and his stepgranddaughters, Sarah and Mary Weddle. He is also survived by three great grandchildren and several special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grandfather Chapel of the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Newland. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fork Mountain Cemetery (252 Fork Mountain Cemetery Rd, Newland, NC 28657).
