He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Norman Lovette and Bertha Bryant Lovette; his wife Frankie Lee Lovette; and his siblings, Leo Lovette, Thomas Lovette, Jimmy Lovette, Josephine Perley, Clara Gillis and Bobbie Holder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Lovette, Cynthia Thornton (Steve) and Savannah Carr (Ronnie); his stepdaughter Angela Ritenour; his grandchildren, Scottie Lovette (Chasity), Tori Palmer (Justin), Tanna Clinard (Brandon), Hannah, McKinlee, Addison, Salem Carr, Cory, Leah and Abby Ritenour; his sister Betty Jones (Sam); and his daughter Brittany Davis (Will). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hathaway Percy Funeral and Cremation Services (101 E F St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Lyons Cemetery (330 Cash Hollow Rd, Elizabethton, TN 37643).
