It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Allen Carriger of Elizabethton, Tennessee, born in Bluff City, Tennessee, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Carriger; his wife Rose Ann Carriger; his siblings, Peggy Ellen Carriger, Paul Carriger, Wendell Carriger, Charles Carriger and Earl Carriger; and his son Robert Carriger.

He is survived by: his daughter Ellen Taylor (Skip) of Elizabethton; his brother Gerald Wayne Carriger of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, Wesley Wright (Nikki), Chelsey Kirkland (Ashton), McKenzie Carriger and Stephanie Carriger; his great grandchildren, Nash Kirkland, Olive Kirkland, Julian Wright, Braxton Wright and Isaiah Brown; and his stepsons, Hugh Thomason and Eddie Thomason.
