With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth M Polk of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Adams and Katherine Proctor Adams; and her siblings, George, Dexter, Jimmy Adams, Grace, Frances (Fran) and Eloise.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Bob Polk; her sister Kay Adams Gnann; her children, Donna Kay Polk Depew (Dennis), Richard Alan Polk (Pamela) and Stephen Grady Polk (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Amy Hedrick (Brad), Elizabeth Depew (Tyler), Kimberly Rule (Dwain), Adam Polk (Jennifer), Stephanie Polk and Faith Polk. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
