With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Thomas Nave Stout of Elizabethton, Tennessee, born in Wheeling, West Virginia, who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Thomas, Sr. and Vera Bradley Thomas; her husband William "Bill" Stout; the father of her children Richard Nave, Sr.; and her fiancé Willard Huskins.
She is survived by: her siblings, Albert Thomas Sr. (Susie), Carl Clifford Thomas and Barbara Jean Sherlock (Richard); her brother-in-law Henry Voss; her children, Donna Nave Smith of Johnson City, Hal Nave of Hampton, Janet Giles (Jeff) of Elizabethton and Mark Nave (Karen) of Australia; her grandchildren, Josh Nave, Jess, Emily Akers (Brandon), Evan Nave and Casey Nave; her great grandchildren, Amelia Stone Nave and Ella Shae Schreiber; and her sister Ruth Voss of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, she requested donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or Pleasant Beach Baptist Church building fund.
