She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Peters and Annie Bailey Peters; her husband Cecil Jeffers; and her siblings, Clara Kelly, Arline Houchins, Virginia Holly, Robert Peters, Hampton Peters, Wade Peters, Jr., Evant Peters, Bobby Peters and Franklin Peters.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Jeffers (Cathy), Jeff Jeffers (Tonya), Sherry Carmichel (Butch) and Debbie Stout (Tommy); her grandchildren, Christy Fair, Shaun Stout, Travis Jeffers and Weston Jeffers; and her great grandchildren, Haley Fair, Jacey Fair, Maylie Stout, Gage Stout, Sullivan Jeffers, Georgia Jeffers and Charlie Jeffers.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Elizabethton Elizabethton (212 E F St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Providence Presbyterian Church.
