With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley R Trice of Elizabethton, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Shirley leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Getter Randolph and Cora Peterson Randolph; her husband Bryant W. Trice, Jr.; and her granddaughter Shannon Dean.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:50 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ Newland (288 Calvary St, Newland, NC 28657). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fork Mountain Cemetery (252 Fork Mountain Cemetery Rd, Newland, NC 28657).
