We announce the death of Stacy Clinton Carden (Elizabethton, Tennessee), who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 80. Stacy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira "Con" Carden and Nancy "Caroline" Livingston Carden; and his siblings, James "Woody" Carden, Paul Carden and Brenda Crosswhite.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Taylor and Stacey Carden II (Janice); his grandchildren, Andrew Taylor, Gabriel Taylor (Tiffani), Caitlin Carden, Cydnee Carden and Maci Clark; his great grandchildren, Elliana Khan of Pensacola, Florida. and Zaiden Khan of Pensacola, Florida.; his brothers, Bill Carden (Kandy) and George Carden (Anna); and his close friends, Kem Richardson and Jerry Caden.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:45 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (215 Heroes Dr, Johnson City, TN 37604).
