He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall B. Reece and Frances Lewis Reece; his wife Kathy Hennegar Reece; his son Jonathan Reece; his siblings, Roland Reece and Carolyn Reece Kyte; and his pet Sassy.
He is survived by: his siblings, Vroman Carl Reece (Renita) and Judy Nyoka Reece Shew (J. W.); his close friend Wanda Akers; and his siblings-in-law, Blaine Henegar (LaDonna), Tom Kyte and Brenda Reece.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Sims Hill Christian Church Cemetery.
