He was predeceased by: his parents, Fremont E. Stetler and Frances Stetler (Weisse); and his siblings, Fremont Stetler, Johnny Michael Stetler, Richard Stetler, Kenny Stetler, Irene Williams and Jeannie Stetler.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Stetler; his children, Helen Holder of Elizabethton, Thomas Lloyd Stetler, Jr. (Sharon) of Beverly Hills and Amy Lynn David (Thomas) of Charlottsville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Andrea Eum of Johnson City, Thomas Hardin of Elizabethton, Dan David of London, England and Wesley David of Charlottesville, Virginia; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Angel, Grayson Eum, Chloe Kate Eum and Kallie Hardin; and his sister Carolyn Markle of New York. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
