He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Woodby and Lydia Miller Woodby; his wife Rachel Woodby; his son Robert Glenn Woodby; and his siblings, Avanell Arnett, Aileen McKinney, Hayes, Clayton, Emmett and Conley Woodby.
He is survived by: his son Garren (Penny); his granddaughter Grace; and his siblings, Alma Jean Phillips, Dennis (Shirley), Ken (Linda) and Alvin (Sue). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and thoughtful and caring neighbors.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A graveside service was held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Happy Valley Memorial Park (2708 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601-7107).
