It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Keith Pate of Elizabethton, Tennessee, born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on January 12, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Lee Pate; and his grandparents, Ida Mae Pate, Ross and Doveda Aldridge. He is survived by: his mother Mayme Aldridge Smith of Elizabethton; and his siblings, Joseph Michael Pate (Bradley Moore) of Sarasota, Jerome Pate (Donna) of Cocoa, Florida, Bobbie Sparks of Elizabethton and Anita Peters (Richard) of Johnson City. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
