He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph S. Haynes Sr. and Charlotte M. Haynes; his grandparents, George, Viola Haynes and Nancy Susong; his brothers, Micheal Deon Haynes, George Ronald Haynes and Ralph S. Haynes Jr.; and his grandson Jaden K. Haynes.
He is survived by: his wife Linda P. Haynes of Men's Chorus; his children, Shamika Makendengue (Francisco), Ebony Haynes and Victor Tracy Haynes Jr. (Ginnefer); his grandchildren, Helena Makendengue, Semira Makendengue, Essence Murray (John), Jordan Haynes (Millie), Rheagan Haynes (Shannon), Peighton Haynes, Victor Tracy Haynes III and Christian Jameson Haynes; his great grandchildren, Syncere Williams and True Williams; his nieces and nephews, Charlotte White and Deon Haynes; and his friends, Andrew Broom and Bish Thomas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
