He was predeceased by: his father Roy Earl Rumley; his brothers, Ray, Herman, Wayne and Lonnie Rumley; and his former wife Eula D. Malone Rumley.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine T. Rumley (Shirley); his children, Ricky W. Rumley (Jill) of Piney Flats, Tammy D. (Ronnie Wright, Jr.) of Bristol and Misty D. (Tracey Barr) of Bristol; his grandson Jamie Wright (Taylor) of Bluff City; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Peyton and Rosa Lee Deloach; and his siblings, Howard Rumley, Rusty Rumley (Joyce Rumley), Penny Rumley of Knoxville and Frances Pearl Massengill of Elizabethton.

Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations in Wade's honor to the Rittertown Baptist Church.
