With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wallace Timbs of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on August 27, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Avery Timbs and Mary Roberta Timbs; and his siblings, Charlie, Lawrence, Ernest, Rueben, Jade, Gene, Billie Robert, Carl, Glen, Worley, Jonnie, Fan, Vel and Retha.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Phillips Timbs; his children, Joann Rogers (Sam) of Johnson City, Marcelene Timbs (Chris Burgess) of Elizabethton and Jeff Timbs (Melanie) of Austin, TX; and his grandchildren, Courtney Timbs of Austin, TX, Christopher Peters of Scottsdale, AZ and Taylor Timbs of Boulder, CO. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
