She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lee and Era Amy Heltshey Williams; her husband Millard I. Laws; and her sons-in-law, John Ruehl and Tom Hay.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Ivern Laws (Marcella), Rhonda Kay Bowen (Donald), Tammy Lynn Ruehl, Terri Dawn Hay and Melanie Sue McClain (JD). She is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and well blessed with many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Chapel (212 N Main St, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
