With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Shell of Elizabethton, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Shell and Dovie Shell (Street); his wife Norma Shell; his sons, Troy Shell, Michael Shell and William Shell; and his siblings, Fred Shell, Burt Shell, Verl Shell, Eddie Shell, Betty Shell and Willie Cox.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Stacy Shell of Lakeland and Sherri Shell of Elizabethton; and his sister Frankie M. Cox of Elizabethton.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
