With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie L. Nave of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Croy Nave; his granddaughter Tina Hyder; his stepgranddaughter Sharon Griffith Compton; his son-in-law Larry Shorter; and his grandson Curtis Blaine Hyder, Jr. (Those).
He is survived by: his mother Virgie Nave; his wife Ruth Nave; his children, Gary Nave (Mary) of Las Vegas, Pat Shorter of Elizabethton and Patricia Bradford (Billy) of Elizabethton; his grandchildren, Heather Bradford Merritt and Michael Nave; his great grandchildren, Emily Merritt and Austin Hyder; and his stepgranddaughters, Sandy, Susan, Nikki, Summer and Lindsey.
