With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wylmetta Buckles of Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on October 12, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Elliott and Mahelia Oliver Elliott; and her husband Harry Buckles. She is survived by: her son Randell; her daughter-in-law Carmen Buckles; her grandchildren, Chad Buckles, Abbie Harris, Hayley Minton and Allison Hughes; her great grandchildren, Erica Harris, Zayne Buckles, Olivia Hughes and Teagan Hughes; and her sister Geraldine Brooks.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:50 AM. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Caldwell Springs Cemetery (1509 Blue Springs Rd, Elizabethton, TN 37643).
